1. Introduction to Reserving Your Luxury Yacht
At Playfableprime, we strive to make the process of booking a luxury yacht charter in the Helsinki Archipelago, Turku, or Lapland as seamless as the voyage itself. This booking policy outlines the procedures, payment schedules, and terms required to secure your private maritime experience.
2. Reservation Process and Deposit Requirements
To secure a booking for any of our premier vessels, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total charter cost is required at the time of reservation. The reservation is only considered confirmed once this deposit has been received and acknowledged by our concierge team. The remaining balance must be paid in full 14 days prior to the scheduled departure date. For bookings made within 14 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
3. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), direct bank transfers, and select secure digital payment gateways. Please note that international wire transfers may incur additional processing fees, which are the responsibility of the charterer.
4. Weather Conditions and Safety Protocols
The safety of our guests and crew is our utmost priority. In the event of severe or hazardous weather conditions that compromise maritime safety, the captain reserves the right to alter the itinerary, delay the departure, or cancel the charter entirely. In cases of cancellation prior to departure due to unsafe weather, we will offer an alternative date or provide a full refund.
5. Modification and Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Changes to the booking date, time, or selected vessel are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days in advance. Such modifications may incur an administrative fee. If you must cancel your booking, the following refund schedule applies:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure: 70% refund (deposit retained).
- Cancellations made 14 to 30 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before departure: No refund will be issued.
6. Security Deposit and Damages
Depending on the nature of the event (e.g., large bachelor parties or corporate events), a security deposit may be required before boarding to cover potential damages to the luxury yacht's interior, exterior, or equipment. This deposit is fully refundable within 7 business days post-charter, provided an inspection confirms no damage occurred during the event.
